"Warm staff and atmosphere, good food at decent prices especially for Monti (including 6 eur Aperol Spritz!!). Waiter was considerate enough to check for dietary requirements and explained portion sizes to me to make sure I didn't order too much. I honestly came into this place not knowing reviews and mostly looked through the window and really liked the vibe and decor of the place. I was not disappointed, I was so happy to have dinner on my last night in Rome here! I especially recommend the porchetta and carbonara."

"Great food, great hospitality. The gentlemen running the front of house were friendly and playful. The food was delicious and so many locals flooded in for lunch that they had filled every seat in five minutes. It was a delightful experience and I will be returning before we leave Rome."

"The chef has been here for 30yrs, the food is beyond excellent. The marinaer is so good I could eat it all alone. Fried calamari with the fresh marinara is fantastic"

"Absolutely extraordinary. If there is even a chance that you could enjoy it as much as we did, please try it. Best italian food I’ve ever tasted."

"Arrived after 8:00pm following a recommendation from our hotel with no reservation. They kindly made space for us and we had an amazing evening with delicious traditional food. The house red wine was pretty good too. Probably won't make it back this trip but will definitely come back next time in Rome"

"This place was so great! We’ve been to several in the Monti area already and this one had good food and great service. We had the carbonara and lasagna, both great. The waiter was amazing and kept bringing bread which was pretty good. I’d recommend the house Red wine. This place got busy and I’m pretty sure they encourage to make a reservation: otherwise you’ll be waiting. The food took a while but had a very Italian atmosphere, a lot of the costumers were Italian for sure."

"A very good Mom & Pop eatery not far away from the Colosseum. The eatery offers something different and the food is good. The only negative that I like to mention is that the chef uses too much MSG. The strong after taste persists in the mouth for a long time. I had to drink 2 beers after we left the restaurant."

"Food was delicious, service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was great! The place was filled with locals, which is always a good sign. You should book a table ahead of time. We showed up right when they opened for dinner and got one of only 3 tables that were free."
